The smoke cannister was for the first goal, the injured kid was after the second. I know this because I got hit by the object.

It was the kids dad that said there was.
Ok, if the kids dad says there was a smoke bomb so be it. I was about 10 yards away and personally didn’t see it. On the other hand dozens of mainly young people rushing forward en mass to celebrate a goal is highly risky for those in their path. The Steward to his credit had to make a quick decision which he did. Not sure if it was the right one.
kid looked ok to me. Parents need to appreciate the risks when taking their children to football matches. It was an excited crowd celebrating a goal that led to a surge. I didnt see a smoke bomb and I was near where the boy was. Seemed hysterical to be honest and the steward overreacted to the situation carrying him out like he’d been shot
Why can’t they put serious organisation into allocating tickets in away ends. It wouldn’t have been hard splitting part of the stand away from the front as designated for families
When you've had kids... WHEN YOU'VE HAD KIDS then you'll understand...
Keeps children busy ,you use them for distinguishing purposes. Please can some halfwit enlighten me to the good thing about a smoke bomb?
Never had you down as an halfwit Sitters?Keeps children busy ,you use them for distinguishing purposes.
There's a reason I used 'apparently' as I obviously didn't see it myself![]()

No thanks necessary, and your right, not turning up is an option, one I have exercised at a few games, not that I should be put in that position, but the safety off my 10 year old is more impoertant then any game off football, but that’s just me.
Don't know if anyone else saw it but after our second goal there was a young boy who must have got caught up in the surge, who was being carried in a hurry by a steward along the front of the stand.
It looked like the medical staff had a look at him to the right of the stand and fortunately he was able to limp away.
Made me feel sick as fuck but glad he walked away from it. GLTTL.
