One of the major problems up front is that our front 2 are never anywhere near each other. It was very unusual last season for one forward to lay on a goal for the other.

Don't get this attitude. Yes we had a good season, but it could have been better - why not strive to improve - and as has been said, if we had top quality centre forward, and made tweaks to attacking play then this would enhance us greatly.

We struggled for goals so its blatantly obvious our attacking should be improved.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we sacrifice a striker for a No10. We need the extra body in midfield in the PL so it won’t be that role that’s lost, and we certainly missed the link play of a No10 at times I felt, Didzy offered this option when he plays as he played deeper than a traditional striker.

CW say 6th most chances. created. 39 goals in 38 games and those chances are not converted. In such a system where the forward is one against a three, an intelligent striker who finds the space is going to be better then a speed merchant, a younger Billy perhaps or Pukki type would be ideal.

Bongle, the one area we can realistically improve is Norwoods. Dont get me wromg he did really well last season but he makes some horrendous errors and carries no goal threat whatsoever. I think that is what Berge has been brought in for. He will pose more of an attacking threat from central midfeld than Norwood and its something we desperately need.

That leaves right midfield to improve ...with or without Lunny. Im guessing thats why we were interested in Swift but Buendia would be my choice.

A.midfield 3 of Fleck, Berge, Buendia would definitely be an upgrade and I think Beundia is gettable.

No no no....criticising the individual players for not being clinical enough is fine but you are criticising the system. A system that created 60 big chances, 5th in the whole league - yes that’s right 5th for a promoted team. Move away from the ignorant narrative of no of shots. The overloading CB’s allow the 2 strikers to play close together in the most important part of the pitch, the box. I agree we need more clinical strikers to put away the quality chances we create and would love Brewster as he is a proper no9, both feet and comes alive in the box - reminds me so much of a young Andy Cole....but it’s the system that Placed us 9th and as more quality arrives the only way is up!

completely agree with you there, as you say Norwood is the position to improve and thats why Berge is here...

RCM is the next area indeed, but if Lunny signs on the dotted line i would be happy with this position, think Wilder will play hardball and get it over the line eventually, seems like no one is arsed about him, however we could also do with some depth in the position

You’re talking like Buendia is played more centrally but isn’t he a winger by trade? When we people talk about our midfield, they say right midfield but we got think it’s not a traditional right midfielder... it’s a right central midfielder, something I personally don’t think Buendia could do. Attacking wise fine but he needs to be able to be back helping out.
