I assume he was injured or knackered. If he was knackered then it’s a bad reflection on our conditioning team that we can’t get our best player fit enough to get through a 90 min one off decider.

When he went off it was a total change of impetus

They promptly brought some of their best players on, who won them the game

Our fans fell (even more) flat after the equaliser, their fans grew in belief and raised the volume

And it was supposed to be us who'd win it from the bench. Nope. It's an uphill battle when you have to compromise by taking your better players off due to permanent fitness issues. See Campbell too, which paved the way for that disaster Moore to be on the pitch to give away the game
