cheap as chips, our terry, no ambition, McCabe, the football/hoofball, sale of quality players, quantity not quality, the amount of loan players,no forward planning .....

just for starters

You keep calling him cheap as chips yet the man is perfectly willing to spend £3 Mill on a useless centre foward, so he can't be that frugal! Edit: Yeah what Len said.

Actually I think Blackwell is doing alright, remember he twice took us to within 90 minutes of promotion last season. He's not as easy to warm to as some and isn't a wonderful manager by any stretch but I think he's doing a decent job.

Look at what's happened to Leeds, Charlton, Wednesday, Forest over the last few years. Get some perspective.

Ginger - why didn't you name your thread 'two shambolic defeats in the last 3 games against two awful sides with meagre budgets compared with ours.'

Why on earth do you think it is appropriate to look at the game yesterday in isolation?

It's not the fact that we lost. It's the way we did it. We were pretty awful for the majority of the match!

I'm just glad I still have a team to support.

Just thought I'd save someone the bother of digging it out.:D

Sorry mate, maybe i dodnt hear praise and grumble or came on here after the 1 other defeat we have had this season!

Its just amazing how our supporters, (if you can call them that) are so quick to jump on the players, manager, chairman, tea lady and everyone else when we lose!

Half the people posting this weekend never bother when we win, i wonder why???

God almighty. Let's look at the bigger picture here folks. What makes anyone think we should be beating teams like Swansea?? Is it the tremendous squad of players we have?? Which, when any one result goes against us we absolutely rip to shreds. 1 month ago everyone's singing and dancing about the signing of Ched Evans. 1 month later we want him moved on!! Ridiculous IMO. He's not proven yet. He scored 10 goals in 20 appearances for Norwich( i think) and had no kind of run in the team at Man City so i think we should get off his back this early in the season. If we beat Ipswich and Ched and Darius score set up by Cotterill then suddenly it'll all be roses again.

That old chestnut's really rotting away now, isn't it.
Leeds and Charlton will be back playing in the same league as us next year and Wednesday and Forest could easily finish above us this year.
Anyone claiming that it's been great to wallow away in the Championship aimlessly for years while pointing a finger at other teams looks more conkers than ever.

The fans have the right to be frustrated. We have just dropped 6 points against lacklustre competition. We should have taken the points against both Coventry and Swansea. They are both poor sides.

Most Blades fans think that we have a good enough sqaud to challenege for automatic promotion. However in the last few weeks we look very, very avaerage. We have gifted away silly goals and lost to 2 shit teams because of poor defending and individual errors. Not only that but (IMO) we were lucky to take the points against Wednesday.

Of course it's not time to be shouting Blackwell out or saying rash comments like get rid of Bunn and Evans etc. However after a few poor performances from a potentially very good side fans have the right to be upset. We are all upset because in the last few games the Blades have underperformed. It's no time for panicking, but at the same time we have a right to be frustrated at Blackwell and the team. The division is looking stronger this year, but we could be right up there with the releaged teams had we got the basic right against Swansea and Coventry.

I was happy we signed Blackwell as i was convinced that he was the brains behind Warnock but I must admit that i'm getting worried that he is unwilling or unable to change tacticts mid game.

Disagree Len, Leeds lost their training ground and are desperately trying to get LCC to get them back. SWFC are still struggling financially. Forest will have to keep building.

Last few years have been alright for me, but post-Premiership the constant complaining about absolutely everything is taking its toll.
