McGoldrick showed tonight what a very good player he is , and how lucky we are to have him. His general play was brilliant , linking the play just like he does for us , and he fully deserved the MOM and the fantastic ovation he received when subbed near the end. Also don't forget about Enda , just as good and accomplished performance from him too , looking every inch an established International footballer.

If Madine wasn't suspended then i'd agree.

I'd start him alongside Billy and then take him off later in the game if we need to (perhaps for Dowell)

He's played two games in Gibraltar and Ireland, so this one isn't too far to travel back. After Bristol City, we then have a week between games

He can have a rest after Preston when Madine is back
