Interesting stat. What it suggests is that after 13 games the top 6 is likely to include the three sides who will go on to gain promotion.

Be interesting to see if this is true of previous seasons as well after a similar amount of games?

I suspect it is, or maybe 2/3 of the promoted sides are in there after 13 games. Ie it’s a strong indicator.

Let’s hope so anyhow.

I want promotion to the Prem and the benefits that come with that. Being able to hold onto our better players (and management team), ground development, seeing the top players in the world in the flesh (as it were). The prospect of European football. The sheer envy it would cause in S6!

Interesting that Bristol City and Birmingham City both ended up finishing 17th and 19th after good starts though. Not saying that's going to be us, seen enough already to suggest we'll be right up there come April/May. UTB

I can see that clearly one or two of us on here are starting to think more about the bigger picture and what we can achieve this season, but I still think it's too early to talk of a promotion push.

We need to take in a couple more big games and tests away from home, but what I will say is this.

If we're still hovering around where we are right now this time next month, I'll jump on the bandwagon.
