How many goals will we put past Chez on Sunday?

I'm feeling Billy's first hat trick of the season.

7-0.

would be happy with a 1.0 so that we can lift the trophy on a high !

3-1 Blades, Clarke, Sharp, Freeman , he's due one.

Blades 4-0 Chesterfield

Fleck, Sharp, Clarke, Coutts

We're too respectful to score 5.

4 or 5. The pressure is off, Chez have nothing to play for.
Like the Bradford game, we will dominate and control the game from the off. I

We didn't show Leyton Orient any respect in that regard. If we play at 100% of our ability this could be an absolute towsing. I predict 5-1 but a score which used to be confirmed in brackets on the vidiprinter wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

Chezzy will want desperately to spoil the party.
This is their final game in this division at a local rival and will be right up for it. The fact they are shit won't matter, for this game they will raise their work rate and give their all.

So it won't be the pasting we are hoping for, and I therefore reckon we might get 2 goals, with them sneaking a goal from somewhere to keep them interested.
The days when our team would turn up for games like this half hearted and thinking of their hollibobs are gone, but I suspect the last few weeks will finally take its toll on a few and the performance o t be up to their usual standards.

I dont think the Chesterfield players have it in them. Last game of an awful season, having to come to our place for a party, they will want to get it over and done with.

If we get an early goal then it will take a Barnsley fan to count on one hand the number of goals we could get.

We smashed them at their place and we only turned up for half of the game.

Get a grip you slashers. We'll win and it won't be by any less than 4 goals.

Match postponed due to angry feminists.

FA award the game to Chezzy and dock United 70 points because they don't want to upset fans from other clubs!

Think Chesterfields priory will be to prevent embarrassment and not get hammered.
So I'm sure they'll park the bus and just try to make it difficult.

I reckon it'll be a comfortable 2-0 win played like a testimonial game.

Doubt we'll score many goals because Chezzie won't gamble and there'll always have plenty back in defence.
Their main tactic will be damage limitation.

You could be right and this has always pissed me off. In the Cup, they go on about 'giant killers' but how come some teams can put the effort in and then be shite the other 95% of the time?

The pressure will get to us, we'll implode, scores of mocking Bolton fans will invade the forum and a certain Scunthorpe superwag will be posting "bottlers" memes on twatter.

Judging from comments on their forum, players and supporters alike have had enough and just want the season to end; so they could well capitulate on Sunday, if we score early. Their fans especially are dreading the day, very few say they've bought tickets because they just don't want to be part of our celebrations; CFC regular away attendees are suggesting that there could be a high proportion of Blades in their end.

Three aims for this game:

Score at least 3 so we match our tally from 2011/12

Keep a clean sheet so we've conceded less than one a game - 45 in 46 - which looked very unlikely at one point

30 goals for the season for Billy Sharp

Five nil to the blades.
A totally dominant performance to put the icing on a wonderful season.
