Bogle is a shit name the owner of which is probably a full weight cunt. As plenty of posts and quotes on here suggest is the case.Wouldn't touch him with yours.

Barnsley really wanted him when he went to Wigan and other than Bradshaw and that Chelsea loanee they have sod all up top... I'd hate to have to go head to head with them for a player.

Doubt it, in January RS asked wilder what he thought about the signing of Hanson , and he said something along the lines of " he's proven to be able to put a shift in at this level and be a pain in the arse for the defenders, and it gives us something different, it's better than spending a fortune, on a Player whose had a good season in league 2" now I'm not saying he was directly on about Bogle there, but a lot of our fans wanted us to sign him , and that does fit what wilder said , we would have had to spend a fortune on someone whose had a good season in league 2
 
Grigg could be a better option than Bogle.

Wigan are a strange club, there's a chance they'll be willing to sell him for a decent price.

They have other players who might be worth a look too, like Max Power, who wants to leave and has been ostracised by the manager. Also the likes of Gilbey, Morsy and Jacobs.

Seems like way too much of a risk for the money he'd cost. Could just get some young-un on loan from premier league with the same attributes
 
I think Bogle would compliment what we have already very nicely, Nothing similar to Hanson other than his height.

Who was Tammy Abraham, Patrick bamford, Benik afobe before they went on loan? The likes of arsenals/ Chelseas youth teams will have some hidden gems. Not saying they'll defiantly be as good as the players I've mentioned, but beats paying over the odds for someone like bogle

All players from the past though, Im not saying the players aren't there but now everyone is looking for a Tammy Abraham on loan. the big clubs can now ask for a Loan fee. top end Champs clubs can pay £10+ for a Striker so of course they will spend £1m+ for a season long loan for someone like Abraham.

Loans can be just as expensive as transfers but all that happens is you develop someone else prospect just so they can sell them on.

last season was Abraham first season? No one knew who he was a year ago. I admit it's all about getting lucky and picking the right player

We've missed out on yet another player we didn't even try to sign.

You watch, we won't get Every Fucker either, as I predicted some time ago.
 
Would have been high risk for us. If he flops at Cardiff, they're still fine. If he flopped for us, having brought him in as a first team striker...

Still, the right type of player we should be looking at in terms of attributes. Wilder needs to pull a gem from someones arse if we're going to find the striker that we need.
 
Should be having a go for him, or looking at who he's replacing at Cardiff, their striking options are becoming scary!!
