Apologies if mentioned elsewhere, but I think
this has been an excellent week for Oliver Norwood. Broke up Chelsea’s play, kept it simple, which followed another good performance against Wolves.

I’m so pleased for Norwood. He’s taken some stick, online at least, for some indifferent displays. Some warranted, some reactionary. But his form is improving once again and we’re lucky to have him.

it was pretty obvious to see that five or six players came back out of sorts after the lockdown and are now starting to find their feet and rythmn again .wilders been clever and just let them play themselves back into form

the stick they got at the time was really disappointing considering the job they had done and who knows how our season would have gone if we hadn't had the enforced break

I never understood the stick he got. He never hides, has a set piece threat even when he's inconsistent and at any moment has the potential to play a killer pass. The opposition know he's has a great shot on him so always close him down under pressure which leaves space elsewhere.

Yes sometimes the team needs to carry him when he's off form though it's a small price to pay.

Agree with the sentiments here. It’s just really fantastic the way the whole team appears to have come back now. I’m sure Wilder’s right that the whole team needs to perform at their very best for all 90 minutes to be able to compete with Premiership opposition, but when they do (and they do it often enough), it’s just tremendous to watch. One of the best teams in this league, and (maybe Liverpool aside) the best supporter experience.
