He is a winger and fairly average one at that. Runs blindly forward with no idea what he is going to do next.

Why managers try to shoehorn him into their team as a striker I don't know. When I am sure he made a name for himself at Forest as a winger.

I’ve said before (maybe on this thread) that there has been a trend in recent years to prioritise athleticism over ball skills in players and Burke is the apotheosis of that. He’s a decent athlete with the ball skill of the average Sunday league player.

I’m glad he’s no longer here but i hope he finds a club where he is valued. He might need to drop to league 1 to find it. A great athlete but never a good enough footballer for the top leagues IMO.
