Our Oli is quoted on there as saying that those 2 goals mean a lot to him. His manager and team mates don’t know him very well yet and he wants to show them what he’s capable of.

He’ll need time to go through his full range which largely involves running very fast, usually without the ball or at least miscontrolling it straight out for a goal kick or throw in and dressing like a tit.

What's the equivalent level of the German 2nd tier in England?
Watched a few games on TV a couple of years ago. It’s not great, to me, top end L1 - bottom end of championship but also German sides generally don’t seem to be that bothered about defending. Plenty of players who score freely in the Bundesliga struggle a bit when they move to the PL.

Cheers for reply. I don't want to knock the lad at all I hope he does well but I know that other leauges are a lot slower than England's. Might be a perfect fit for him!

We proper had RB Leipzigs pants down with him, £13m 😆

And you actually paid money for him...although with your track record of buying strikers he's probably considered a success.
You dozy twat; surely you've realised by now that we are more than capable of slagging off our own players, our own managers past and present, our own chairman, our own scouting system, and our own fans. We don't need a boring cunt from Notts to do it for us.

Hi Stegosaurus here

Cant believe teams give him the time of day

He was wank at Leipzig
Wank at West Brom
Wank at Celtic
Wank at Alaves
Wank for us
Wank for Millwall
Wank for Scotland

Yet Bremen think "hE mIGhT bE gOoD fOr Us"

In that half-time thingy they do on the match stream, "Butter bei die Fische", he is asked to choose preferences. Quite early on, without a moment hesitation, he chooses Alaves over Sheffield United. He also prefers a Bundesliga goal to one in the Prem, although that might just be him being aware that since he's now a Bundesliga player, that choice might ingratiate him to the locals..

PS: That kit is an atrocious green attempt to replicate Bassett's diamond shirt.

Just watched that video, bit disappointing but not sure why, he didn't really excel for us! I wonder if it was between us or West Brom whether he'd have said us? Anyway, maybe he didn't enjoy his spell with us but he can't say he wasn't given enough chances. If he actually used his physical strength to better effect he could be dangerous. His work rate also needs to be higher in my view, especially if he is to be up top. He could actually do a lot worse than watch videos of Adi Akinbiyi for physical strength and effort, not as much on finishing but I'd take Adi over Burke every day of the week! Some might not say neither but my point is Adi maximised his ability, limited perhaps, through effort and strength. It's not like he's lacking in strength and height and pace, he should with that alone be able to cause far more problems than he has to date up top or on the wing. Lack of composure and wrong decisions were obviously a problem but if he'd run to the maximum and used his strength I think he would have carved out a much better career for himself than he has to date.

So glad he's no longer here. Fair play that he seems to have turned it around though.

"Media trained footballer says thing that will most endear him to fans of current team" - shocker.
