I guess I best start by giving people are reminder that links aren't tolerated on here, I don't want my arse tanning by Foxy and Linz for creating a thread of infarctions and naughtiness.....We all know the streaming sites and if not then in this day and age a simple google search finds plenty without the need to post them on here.

But those Slovaks seem to love Dem Blades....This isn't the first time that they have selected us for live TV over there, in fact it probably happens twice a season at least....They haven't put down the pecking order either, we are the main live event on Digi Sport 1.......

Joking apart though Digi Sport have the contract for live Football League One games.....and they seem to generate quite a bit of interest over there which is bizarre when they have the big European coverage as well....I mean that Saturday morning's prime TV line up is a Premier League Build Up, followed by an AFC Wimbledon Special......before a Gary Speed Special.....Probably better viewing that Football Focus or Soccer AM to be fair.

Anyway I'm not sure how this sort of thing works but if we do get any TV revenue from this I guess it would be very minimal after the FL's cut?

Anyway it's kind of cool to think that a good few thousand will be tuning in to watch us over in Slovakia, who knows we might even gain a few fans in the process?? The only problem being that I am not sure whether they have any Championship football rights?....I'm sure they will have?....It would be a shame to gain a few gains and then get promoted and lose them again!

(Q) Here's a question......Have we ever had a Slovakian play at Sheffield United at any level?

(A) This link says no...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Sheffield_United_F.C._international_players

We've had an Austrian, an Estonian and a Belarusian from memory....but other than that we really haven't had that many eastern European players have we?

We are often on ViaSat in the Nordic region when games are televised too

There are no PL or Championship games that weekend, so TV companies abroad need something else to show in the 3pm timeslot. We are usually the default option.

Is it digi sport on an iptv as I've looked for it but can't find a schedule. I know shoreham boy is streaming on you tube though
