Is this shirt really worth £250-£350 (+ Add-ons, 34.74% Inc.VAT/sales tax)?, if so, Why??
I know it is only worth how much someone is willing to pay for it and there is a big market and interest in/for old shirts but I am genuinely surprised at the pricing of this!
Yes. Because its match worn /player issue. The umbro sign and the laver sponsor on the shirt are what differentiates it from a replica kit. Also the Ubro numbers on the back. You couldnt buy these. Very different from what you could buy from sports shops. This is a gem and a rarity. I think this could nudge to nearly £500

Hi MBtt, thanks for the knowledgeable and informative reply. Having looked at the shirt again, I can see the items you have pointed out and would imagine these will partly be the reasons for the shirt selling as it did for £320. Cheers

Honestly don't know, I was kind of curious about its value but it was the leaving present from my first ever job.
I have exactly the same shirt. It was right at the end of the season and the club shop were selling about 5/6 of them. They were player issue, but not used (no name or number) and I suppose it was a way to get rid of them and make a bit of money. If I remember rightly they were the same price as the replicas. Difficult to gauge value, as they are player issue spec, but not actually match worn. But it is a nice one to have, especially with the long sleeves :)

Bloody nora! I did wonder about the Nationwide patches. My old boss was a Wendy as well - it'll murder him he got me a bargain.
