Okay, that's fine

Sounded like Moore made a crucial save at the death so can't make too many complaints. If you can't win, don't lose, simple!

UTB
their keeper also made a very luck save shortly before that lafferty fired the ball straight through keepers hands and keeper managed to keep it out with his legs

So at least 2 teams have to pick up 1/2 point per game on us over the next 11 matches, even if Bolton win what is not an easy game in hand. And none of them get to play us in a six pointer.

The only games against top 6 teams are 2 home games against Millwall and Bradford.

I'm sleeping easy in my bed tonight and so should you all be.

I've just booked a hotel for the play off final.

One thing is for sure, if our aim is promotion, rather than the title (and surely it has to be) we want Fleetwood to beat Bolton next week...

Anything other than a Bolton win reduces the 27 points we need to be confirmed as promoted.
3 points for Fleetwood, I cant see any other outcome.

If Fleetwood Town overtake us I'll be fuming.

This is supposed to be our year, so fuck off with your "oooh look at us with our foreign manager and ridiculous recent points to games ratio".
They will overtake us unless our leaky defence doesn't sort itself out, shipping far too many as league leaders.

Personally I think Bolton are a spent force, they've taken 11 points from their last 10 games, they've taken 2 points from their last two home games.
Forget Scunny they'll do well to finish in the Play Offs

Us and Fleetwood then

I'd prefer Bolton to beat the Fisherpeople next week, they're less of a threat

Here endeth the lesson

Win at home and draw away is fine in the grand scheme of things. Throwing away a 2 goal lead is still annoying, 10 points clear of 3rd would have been very nice. 8 will have to do.

We are edging to the point where the teams in third and below need to make up more than a point a game to catch us and games are running out.

I would say that a draw between Fleetwood and Bolton would be a good result for us and esepecially if we can win on Tuesday

What were their goals like?

If they were worldies then OK. If we got turned on the break 3 times when we were ahead then we will need to be more professional if we are to move on.

They were soft
The third was atrocious

be superb , 8 points clear with 10 games left would be a good place to be
we have millwall and bradford at home thats testing , other than that can we win 6 of the last 11 , and draw a few still looking good
still no losses with Wright , amazing

One of those games where we scored too early
Our players didn't switch off exactly but there wasn't the same urgency after the 15th minute until we had to step it up again

I just think if we'd gone in at half time 0-0 we'd have probably won a hard fought game whilst keeping our concentration levels

Sounds daft I know, but scoring two after 11 minutes dropped our concentration levels a bit IMO

8 points clear of 3rd place, that's one better than this morning.

Disappointed we've missed another golden chance to open an unassailable gap.
I'm sure Bolton will be disappointed that they've dropped points again.
Scunthorpe will be gutted that they've picked up 2 points from 12
Bradford disappointed that they've suffered too many draws

But Fleetwood delighted to have sneaked into 2nd...

Just seen the goals and "Okay that's fine" might be OK for where we are in league 1 with others faltering but if we make it to the Championship how many will be as good as or better than Rochdale ? Probably most ?

"Okay that's fine" if we accept many changes will be needed in the summer if we go up. Surely Rochdale and a a few others have showed we might be several players short at a higher level as has been evident for a while. Lets be under no illusions for next season but be happy for where we are now.

I don't think the pitch helped today, didn't allow for Fleck and Coutts to do there thing

I think the OP referred precisely to where we are in Lge 1.
Anybody who thinks that where we are now has any bearing or where we hope to be next season doesn't know how Chris Wilder works at all.

At the end of the day we've had an off day and still come away with a point at a team that has a pretty good home record and other results have gone our way as well so surely its no time time to start being negative.

Yes playing like we did today would probably have ended with a defeat against most Championship sides but on the flip side when we have been on it this season ie Southend away or Scunthorpe at home and many many others then we would probably have beaten a lot of Championship teams.

You can't go saying in effect today has proved most of the squad aren't capable at the level above after a rare substandard performance when they have proved over and over again this season that they are capable.

It's not fine. It's terrible defending that's cost us a win that could prove costly.

CW was honest, today we were NGE - o.k. let this one go, but no more, please, this fuckkker has to be put to fukkin bed, a.s.a.p.
