West Ham were fined £5.5m in the first ruling. West Ham then said they had removed the 3rd party clause to allow Tevez play against Wigan the next day and for the rest of the season. This was proved in court to be untrue and that the 3rd party rule still stood. For any proof of this look at West Ham's sale of Tevez to Manure. How much did West Ham make again?

£2m.

For a £30m player under contract for a further 2 or 3 years.

But no, no third party interference there.

I would advocate boycotting the game simply so that no Blades give them any money, even though it will be small change to them.

I'd go as far as supporting the team not showing up and handing them a walkover. Or perhaps we could lineup and then refuse to kick off until Scudamore hands out the further, harsher punishment he promised for further cheating after the fine. Or maybe our lot could just spend 90 minutes digging up the pitch.

Just go out, play a straight bat, and win or lose say to them "That's how you do it".

Just been announced on SSN, Wet Spam to sign Tevez on loan (via 3rd party) the week before the game.

Whatever happened to this fresh joint inquiry into West Ham's further conduct after they were fined £5.5M (I.e. The verbal agreements and "oral cuddles" that allowed Tevez to continue playing)
I've scoured the Internet in vein for the outcome.
It just seems to have been quietly swept under the carpet.
I know they weren't punished further but does anybody know what the official ruling was?

Yes, I was aware of that thanks mate.
The point I was making is that on the 8th Jan 2009, it was widely announced that there was to be a further joint inquiry by the FA and Premier League into the conduct of West Ham.
What was the official result of that inquiry? Was it ever announced? Is it still ongoing?
Try as I might, I've not been able to find anything on the internet about the verdict.
If anybody else can find something, I'd be very grateful.
Surely, they didn't launch a fresh joint inquiry and then quietly let it drop? Did they?

"The joint FA and Premier League statement said: "The joint inquiry will examine whether the conduct of West Ham United immediately after the independent disciplinary commission's decision of 27 April 2007 amounted to further breaches of Premier League or FA rules."

...perhaps we could all wear Ched mask's..?

Shame Ched won't be out in time to play. The media would have a field day if he scored the winner.

The whole thing is sad as Blades vs Hammers has produced some fine games. Neither team ever lets a TV audience down. The Hammers fans are also generally a good bunch except for the few brain-dead morons that every club gets lumbered with.

I'm actually in London on the day of the game, pity I have to leave at 8 really, for a tenner I'd have gone if we could magically have known the draw more in advance

its all water under the bridge now.we got screwed by the fa. we got compensation. mcabe pocketed it all.time to move on. it doesnt alter the fact though that i fucking hate west ham and there lowlife fans

I am surprised relegated teams from Premier League have not taken up the issue of Sunderland fielding an ineligible player.

Just out of interest, did anyone see the 'Sheffield United' ball actually come out of the hat or bowl or what ever they call it these days?

Once again the FA have shown complete dis-respect to 50% of the teams still in the competition by drawing them out (home or away) in secret before the draw was made on TV, so how do we realy now for sure we were actually drawn away in the first place, I thought the reason the draw is always transmitted live on TV was to ensure that it was transparent!

It's called ruining football for money.
They wont be happy until the FA Cup is seeded, with Man Utd, Citeh, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton, Newcastle and Chelsea all getting byes to the last 16 with the lesser mortals having to battle through the rounds for the privilege of being humped by one of them who will all be drawn at home and kept separated.
They will then insult everybody by saying that these clubs have European commitments and need to rest their players whilst they earn a fortune competing in these competitions and can buy sufficient players to manage.
Magic of the FA Cup gone in one fell swoop

McCabe didn't pocket a penny. We pissed the West Ham compensation up the wall along with the parachute payments, paying average players like Darius Henderson, Nyron Nosworthy, Lee Hendrie and Gary Naysmith obscene amounts of money to get us relegated from the Championship.

not according to the annual report and accounts from that season and the season after.

Admitting you have sex with drunken women who cant remember what they did the next day, calling the catering staff thick even thou you don't know them personally, calling West Ham fans lowlifes when again you don't know them and now making an unfounded accusation.

And you call others lowlifes and thick ?

Yes it is there in black and white....which means you cannot confirm that McCabe has pocketed the money. Indeed the accounts do reveal something about the income of the club in previous years and you had actually read the accounts, you would know the validity of your comment.

In two days you have been potentially made liable comments about Mr McCabe and admitted to potentially raping drunken women.

I am curious as to what ,list you are adding me onto but I know which list you will be on.

ok, smartarse, where did the 50 million go to ? because there is no mention of it in the club accounts, the only thing i can think of if he did not pocket it, is that it was moved to his property business, which amounts to the same thing, does it not ?
