How do 2 players get to be unmarked 6 yards from goal??? What in the name of blue monkey hell is this crock of defending??

Just watched it again and their winner is offside. My immediate thoughts from my viewing point in the South stand was the goalscorer was offside and the replays haven't made me change my mind. Not an excuse for losing but didn't think we deserved the end outcome yesterday. Probably didn’t do enough to win but definitely didn't deserve to lose IMO.
Agree he was offside, thats two goals given in consecutive games that were offside.

When I grow up, I want to sit in a darkened room wearing full referee attire, so I’ve been practicing in my spare time. He was behind the ball when it was played, and level at best

The right side of the attackers body is for me offside, the ball is not shown moving yet and the attacker has momentum.

Good picture tho 10/10

Even if there was any doubt (none for me) surely the benefit goes with the attacker anyway.

Speaking of offside, he fluffed it anyway but wasn't this onside vs. Swansea the other week?

I was measuring from his right foot/knee, which seems like the furthest forward bit of his body. Even though I said on our podcast that he maybe looked off to me, having watched it back, he wasn’t.

And as Wards says, benefit goes to the attacker anyway. The Lino was so certain, he did that thing where he intentionally (and theatrically) points his flag down while running up with play.

It's a weird one because it's both THE reason that we lost but also NOT the reason that we lost. If that makes sense.

Well onside but given the finish it's probably best that he was incorrectly flagged off. Bad McGoldrick seems to have returned this season.

A long time since I've seen us offside so many times in a game, something to work in on training maybe.

There are very few Ohare offside that annoy me. He's always on the front foot and he gambles, he's a clever player so he sometimes expects clever little fick and touches forward that dont come.
90% of Campbell's offside are caused my laziness.
