few years ago and I heard all the hype about him...was in England, went to the Lane...saw him in a home game against Reading...thought he was a pub player who had won a competition to play for United. I watched him, the odd times he's been fit! Playing for the under 21s never really impressed me, got the impression there was a touch of arrogance about him, he's seemed more interested in how he looked rather than what he could do on the pitch. Won't be missed in my opinion.

Not really sure what it’s a waste of? Other than a waste of uniteds time trying to get him to stay.
Seems to me like he’s got an overinflated opinion of himself when he delivered very little in real terms.
Also sound we looked after him whilst he had been ill recently and he’s re paid us by fucking off.

As nobody at the club seems to speak to the fans anymore it’s hard to tell really.

The long contract that United offered him will hopefully increase the compensation.

I've always maintained that Jebbison should have been a big asset to the club.
There's very few players of his profile, at that age and always likely to attract a big fee upon finding any sort of form and (on the contrary to the majority) I always felt that was not too far away with a run of games.
1 in 2 at League 1 level at 18 said a lot.

I feel, as a club, we messed up his (and Osula's) development.
And right now, players and coaches are abandoning ship as there isn't a project to get behind. We're in takeover limbo.

All in all, I can't blame the lad for leaving.
It's a shame from a business sense as the compensation is likely to be pretty minimal and it's another asset that walks well under value.

Having said all of that, his attitude never looked the best and he hadn't produced anything significant enough (yet) for us to really miss him. The rebuild needs to be full of players that want to be here and he clearly didn't fit that profile.

You have to keep DCL in mind.

Jebbison had done a lot more by a similar age and looks a really good athlete. I think he'll go on to do really well. He began to add a bit of timber onto his frame and his balance improved. He can score with both feet and he's very quick for someone so big.
If a decent club get hold of him, they'll turn him into a player.

Osula is still so raw and hasn't made the strides I'd have expected by now. He needs games to improve. He has a lot of great attributes, but still a bit gangly and unsure of his positioning.

He might turn out to be more Calvert-Lewin than Jordan Slew, but he is also a 20 year old who has been injured for a year and only scored a handful of goals in his career, despite a lot of potential. We are possibly without any starting strikers ( not counting Brwwster with his fitness record) for next season and we will get a fee for Jebbison, which means we can bring in players ready to start and play a full part next season. We also have a whole clutch of highly rated young forwards Osula, Marsh, One...So I would live with it, even if he does turn into a gem somewhere else. Only thing is I would have liked to get a good sell on fee for him, but I am not sure that is possible with the tribunal system for out of contract players.

A handful of goals would implie he's got 5 or more which he has not.Osula won't do anything apart from steal a wage and star on stupid fucking cooking videos on SUTV ,

I don't think either Jebbo or Osula will amount to much sure they will make a living in the game but I doubt it will be higher than league one level. Happy to take the compensation and let him go elsewhere probably a player with an over inflated ego and opinion of himself, he has done nothing really.

Jebbo has just turned 21.
At that age DCL had just made 44 appearances for Everton in one season and was a regular scorer for England U21s.
