I went 18th too. I can see us being mid table about Christmas under Adkins who is then sacked. Travis Binnion is brought in as manager and told to bring through as many acadamy players as possible. Then we sell Adams and Sharp and have to play DCL up front on his own for the rest of the season. We just about scrape enough wins together to stay up as McCabe warns we don't want to end up like Champions League winners Leicester who once went into admin

Until we know who we will have in place (players) I find it difficult to answer, I reckon it will be a better season than this, but as some have said we will probably have the biggest budget, still the biggest attraction as a team in the division, what has happened this season should be partly forgotten and we have to move on, as we do in life after a setback, I am still a cup half full merchant and as the season approaches I will hopefully get more optimistic, as I usually do, and then........ P.S finish 2nd. (hopefully I wont change this in July)

It has to be first as we will probably have the biggest budget which means the bookies will have us as favourites,althouagh they got it wrong this season they don't get it wrong very often, Def first

the bookies dont quite work like that though, maybe the very first odds they put up but its more to do with the amount of money they expect to be put on that market and then how much is actualy put on that market. As we are the biggest club (fan base) by quite a way in this league we will pretty much always be favourites as they will expect a certain amount of those fans to have a punt on loyalty. The market for league 1 football is tiny in the grand scheme of things so these odds are then very easily scewed by any large bets that go on any team inparticular.

I think we'll finish just out of the playoffs having sacked Adkins around xmas with a new guy coming in and getting our players to actualy play well. unfortunatly he'll be hampered by the overpriced journeymen Adkins has been allowed to sign this summer and the whole sorry mess will continue.

Fingers crossed Im wrong and I am prepaired to give Adkins a clean slate at the start of the season but hed better hit the ground running and cut all the bullshit or Ill quickly revert back to demanding his head

That Travis Binnion fella does seem to be the flavour of the month with McCabe , don't know his background but seems to be well respected at BDTBL.

Good coaches do not always make good managers ala Clemment Derby County? . .Is Travis being groomed / lined up for a bigger Job .
