For any new members, we try and get a game of football on every week - as long as we can get a minimum of 8 people confirming for definite by early Saturday evening, the game goes ahead.

It's a friendly kick around for a couple of hours open to anyone who wants to turn up, regardless of skill, age or fitness... do feel free to bring a mate. The main aim is to have a laugh.

Venue: Goals, 95 Norfolk Park Road, S2 2RU

Time: 10:00 Sunday

Cost: The cost of the pitch is shared equally between players - between £2 - £3 each depending on how many turn up

What you need: Trainers, moulded or astro-turf boots. No studs. Shinpads optional.

Please yey or nay in the poll above... you can change your vote if your availability changes

Sadly there'll be no Jonny Foreigner peasants turning up this week from darn sarth!

:)

The problem with Forum Footy is that it often gets left until late Saturday and even Sunday morning to see if people "fancy it", depending on the skinful they've had the night before most likely. Gonna see how this goes until Friday - i've ruined mine and my families weekends too many times, leaving sunday mornings open to a game that doesn't take place.

The other option Foxy has long suggested is that forum football also runs on one evening in the week. The issue with that is that pitches are busier and so will need to be booked and limited to an hour... admittedly the latter isn't an issue for some :D

Yeah i know, we've tried all sorts to nail it down but i think the weekend slot is the favourite (could maybe try canvassing for a saturday morning again?). For clarification purposes (and i'm pretty sure you didn't take it this way anyway) but it was not in the slightest bit of a dig at you or his lordship, but frustration that others don't always share my enthusiasm that comes with thinking that i'm still about 24 :)

Could do with some more Definately today.

Not looking good
