V jones???
i like the odds on O'Driscoll i hope that he does take over

Warnock? They are actually offering odds on this? Interesting that they've listed just about everyone in management with a Blades connection (and Kamara and Vinny??) except Chris Wilder.

If i had to draw up a shortlist of 3, it'd be:

O'Driscoll
Curbishley
Roeder

All three know what it's like to be up against it, and have a decent level of tactical knowledge

Chris Wilder would work for me, young manager, won promotion, links to United

Speed, G 6/4
O'Driscoll, S 6/1
Brown, P 8/1

These are unsurprisingly the top three and the only realistic candidates from that list in truth. I cant see past Gary Speed getting it at the moment. Just seems too easy and too obvious. If the money is right Phil Brown would take it in a shot but Speed comes cheaper. O'Driscoll wouldn't take it if it was offered.

he's an actor, and i didn't think he would change to be a manager, in fact if he did would he even be a good manager?

Besides that, he did well in Mean Machine training loads of nutters to come good footballers. so lets get him in ;)

and if he did come to lane and the lads didn't do as there was told he can just bit their noise off :D

curbs the west ham fan who was in charge and played Tevez at west ham get the job at the lane the club that sue'd his beloved west ham ? ? ? are you sure

I can't believe Dean Windass is on any list anywhere for managing anything let alone a football team. Especially our football team. I'd put a fiver on Madonna ahead of him.

I'd hang myself if we got Glen Roeder - just for having to look at his dour, miserable face every week

Poyet....no way

Why not Soton? He has had experience of a big club at Leeds and has had an excellent 9 months or so at Brighton. He seems pretty intelligent for a footballer, has excellent connections within the game and there doesn't appear to be any dirt associated with him. I am not sure of the style of football that they play at Brighton but my guess would be that it is better than the dross that KB has served up for the past 2 years.

If it's Brown we will not improve at all. I don't really want Speed either but can't see ant other cheep option.
