He had quite a remarkable career.
He could have dropped off the face of the earth after leaving Forest for the second time but he joined Chesterfield at the age of 31 and went on to score 92 goals in all competitions for them.

I seem to recall back in the early Warnock days we seemed to start every other season with a temporary left back. Nicholas Weber one year, Terry Phelan another, and the one that Warnock went on a Dan Burn esque farce to try and sign Carl Serrant, who I don't think ever ended up playing a game.
Anders Jacobsen – we were expecting a typically strong, dominant Scandinavian centre-back, and instead we got Jacobsen.
Jon O'Connor – part of the Ward deal wasn't it? Or one of the other Everton deals we did. Played a handful of games.
Li Tie – often forgotten we bought him for the Premier League season.
