good performance today geary as usual was immense im still waiting to see a better full back in the country!
legsofwood was a shamble ive lost patience with him he brings nothing to the team its time to get him out!
also i thought stead was very good when he came on i thought he always looked like scoring, im afraid to say i think billy sharp is struggling quite a bit at the moment

What a fantastic performance. It helped us I thought playing someone who looked to pass the ball around like we did.

Someone near us, as usual, slated Monty from start to finish. Now even if you don't rate him he had a great game today.
I'd agree with Keenzy and Sharpy on this thread.
I'd also add Armstrong......he was excellent today and what a great cross for the goal.
Beattie also with a great header and an awesome work rate both at the front and in defence.
Said earlier......I'm happy!

im sorry but legsofwood is terrible he's got no talent at all all he did when he came on was give the ball away...

Morgan & Geary had amazing games today.
Monty broke everything of theirs up all game.

Dont agree one bit leggy is shit- he makes a mess of the simplest things and cant wait to see hime leave.

very good today looked shaky at first then started palying football and bossed the game,cant believe noone hasm entioned passy yet made some important saves and won us the match.

All of them played really well, and leggy didn't really get much time to get into it in my eyes.

I'm no fan of Legs Of Wood, but in fairness he did put a couple of nice touches in down the left, but also made his mistakes. Geary and Morgan were outstanding, and Monty would have been better but for his ice skates.
Beattie showed real class when taking his goal. Both sides were patchy in the first twenty minutes, but we bossed the game after that, save for a little spell in the second half, after we'd set off at a withering pace.
Oh, and we're not bottom of the table either

Definately an imporved performance and some very encouraging individual displays from some key players; Tonge and Beattie in particular.
West Brom were poor and i expected a much tougher test today; their forward line caused us very few problems and their passing play failed to result in many decent chances.
I'm still hopeful of signing at least 1 new midfielder this week; i hope that this victory does not persuade Robbo to ge with what we have.
Hopefully this can be the start of a good run for us.

1. Great team performance, points well deserved.
2. As long as we play a defensive mid-field we will walk on the edge - one goel up and holding.
3. The person who is really under-performing for us is Keith - barely hit 305 of his crosses and has yet to take on a man. Good work on defence, doesn't lose the ball.
