Cardiff have been relegated so Do you think he will get a game for Cardiff this weekend so theat OGS (can't spell his name) can have a close look at him in competitive action

I sincerely doubt it. They'll pick their strongest side to take on Chelski for a final hurrah. Although I grant "strongest" is a concept they're struggling with.

Interesting question, it's as broad as it's long I think.

Solskjaer's opinion may be that Brayford has a future at Cardiff, but if John has no desire to be there then I guess his agent will speak to the club and attempt to engineer his release. We cannot forget the agent in this, he'll do his best to advise his client what's best for the player, and of course the agent's pocket.

It's a bit like buying a house, the heart may influence where Brayford would prefer to be, but the mind may introduce those pragmatic issues that offer a very different perspective. It also depends on how much Clough wants Brayford here, and whether the Prince is prepared to support his manager in pursuing Brayford. I think the player can tell that under Clough this is a club that has ambition, but whether Brayford wants to take that gamble and be part of this new chapter.......so many questions, maybe pie in the sky wishful thinking, but stranger things have happened.

As with so much that goes on in football, who knows if discussions are already under way? Or maybe Clough has seen the writing on the wall and is pursuing other targets, rather than hang on a thread in the hope that Brayford might become a free agent.

It's been suggested more than once that the thought of Brayford signing for SUFC won't happen, at least not this coming season.
I won't be downhearted if that's the case, disappointed maybe, but such is my faith in Clough that I suspect he'll bring in someone who can offer solid cover for this position UTB

I'm so glad theyv'e struggled after that twat ricky tan,oh no he's the one out of rush hour,i mean that twat vincent tan got rid of malky mackay for no reason really,he was doing a good enough job i thought.
My point anyway is would you or anyone want to play for vincent tan.
I think there was only ole gunnar solskjaer;)(looked it up):pwho was daft enough to take the managers job to be honest.
So come on brayford ,ricky's a twat and you know you want to.

Derby have had Wisdom at right back this year on loan from Liverpool. I think the most likely scenario will be Wisdom back to scousers and Brayford back to Derby. Will become even more likely if Derby get promotion.

he wont play, but could do a job in the champ for Cardiff, who knows if OGS will want him?

.

Fulham should have stuck with Jol and Norwich with Houghton too. They might still have got relegated, but both are proven managers who had just as much chance of keeping their respective teams up as their replacements. The sackings were expensive for the clubs involved too, especially for Fulham who then sacked Jol's replacement.

Of course they will have parachute payments, and will be able to pay PL wages for a while yet, so I'd expect to see at least one of these clubs back in the PL in a couple of years

Vincent Tan who gave his manager a fortune who pissed it away on injured and sub standard players? He's certainly not blameless but it isn't as one sided as some have reported.

They were 1 point above the relegation ,with a team that had never been in the premier league before he was sacked. If i was a cardiff fan,i know who i'd be blaming

I'd be blaming the red shirts, it was never going to work out.

Why would you want to go back and play at Cardiff given the Chairman has already labelled you a 'waste of money'?

I have a feeling the beard will be a Blade before the start of next season.

Tis just a feeling mind.

'Cos he's got no option? To stay away would mean being fined, kept in the reserves for the season, and his career as flat as a pancake.

I agree that Brayford will be returning under duress, but he's found himself in a situation he couldn't have imagined. After being signed for £1.5 million he must have thought he'd at least be given the opportunity to show what he could do. It's just not Tan's responsibility for what happened, MacKay picked the team so he was the one who decided not to include Brayford. Unless OGS is able to salvage a very unpleasant situation, Brayford will be looking for a new club.
