Not a totally grumpy old man but do miss the lively debate of the old Viewpoints board.

Things you have to know about me

1. I'm generally happy and would definitely be considered a clapper.

2. I understand finance and the danger of wild ambition.

3. I SUPPORT the team for 90 minutes every game. Positivity is catching. Unfortunately so is negativity and we can do without that at BDTBL.

Would I be right to suggest you understand these things and have developed this outlook from personal experience? A major career change?

First impressions are that it's like being in your own Cast Away virtual movie.
When you get there you are still not too sure of what's going on.

It was hardly slated, more of a misunderstanding regarding the point being made. The poster was merely commenting that there was another thread already in existance on the topic you were talking about and that hordes of topics on the same thing were much more difficult to read/to keep up with. It didn't read aggressively to me.

Can we please not start an "us and them" style situation? We've welcomed BU'ers with open arms into our already thriving community, the idea is, we all get along and the BU refugees integrate with the rest of us rather than form their own faction and merely use the facilities.

If there is anything you prefer about BU, then by all means make a suggestion rather than stating "it wouldn't have been like this on BU".
