No Battle, No fight, no passion, same old story.

Keef is not good enough. BT has been poor for a few games. And more importantly the manager is not good enough.

SUFC do us a favour, give us a great christmas present, make robbo santa and give him the sack.

Radio Sheffield have just asked Colin Addison what Robson should do in January. He mentioned several things, but neglected to name the obvious thing, namely chuck himself in the River Don while cuddling a bloody big anvil.
The management team are simply incapable of any inspiration. Under Warnock we had some fight, but as Keenzy says, there is no battle in this side. I wouldn't back them to win a punch-up against the Girl Guides at the minute.

Yeah I have lost any faith in Robson.

He has to go NOW.

fuckin wank

don't think beatts has looked rate for last couple games

nobsor not got bottle to drop him though

poor, below average performance, just boring to watch

get the prat out

dunno if BT got that virus going round and couldn't run too much, but if hes got it and not fully fit, why is he being played?

poor performances, still people think hes the second coming. true he has scored 12 goals but his performances have been poor of late.

Keef isnt good enough and so too naysmith, but none will get dropped.

I agree with what people are saying but, can't understand the Beattie bashing. He has scored 12 this season for us. Yeah he may have had a few bad games recently, but is there really any wonder, his confidence must have dropped since he came here. Think about all the times he has bailed us out, yet other players and the management aren't up to scratch - therefore, i reckon that his performance has dropped due to poor morale basically.

I dont think its fair to blame Beattie, but he's gone a few games without scoring and i think its the manager that should spot that and maybe try something different!

Why are you making Beattie the scapegoat??

Strange to say the least.

not at all

i think he's been quality this season

but the fact is he isn't fit and should not have played today

more commenting on robsons lack of bottle to drop beatts

we would have benefited more from a striker in full fitness

Or maybe it's the way that when the ball doesn't fall to Beattie's feet, and he thinks it should have done, he shrugs his arms and generally acts like a prize tit.

Can't see that, plus the Premiership wages he's on, doing much good for morale. Or the fact that he starts every game, regardless of previous form.

Salaries have little impact what so ever on motivation.

So you would be happy to work for half the wages of a bloke putting in half your effort ?

I thought the rumour that I'd heard about Beattie was wrong, but it turned out he was ill against Barnsley and that's why he came off.

He had a bad game yesterday and should have been taken off. That's either because of the rumour that I heard, or just bad management.

I'd like to see some evidence to back up this assertion; for my part, I would say that if someone is earnng a considerable amount more than other players - players who have been loyal to the club for several seasons - that would potentially cause a stink in the dressing room.

I think that Ashley Cole's motivation was hampered somewhat by Arsenal's refusal to pay him more salary.

Like wise for you.

Motivation through pay only lasts for so long, then you just get used to that level of pay.

Also regarding Ashley Cole, his motivation was also hampered somewhat by there been a lack of English being spoken in the Arsenal dressing room (quote interview with his wife in GQ a few month back).

its somewhat BT bashing, but moreso the fact robson not having the backbone to drop a player who is ill and not performing.

A few on here were saying a couple of weeks back (me and I think MattH and Robbie - apologies if not, chaps :)) that it's unhealthy to have an untouchable in the squad and that's what Beattie is. It isn't necessarily Beattie's fault but it's obvious. It didn't sound like Beattie was working particularly hard on Saturday and if he was still carrying a bit of an illness then surely he should've been the striker to come off - but no.
