Looks like we won't be signing Nozza. Not a great loss to the team if im honest.
What interested me most about this article is a quote from Blackwell at the bottom of the page.
"This summer is almost as much about getting a core into the team signed up and stable for a few years as it is about bringing new players in,"
Shoot me down if I have read too much into this, but does this comment sound like the foundation for excuses later in the season? IS he saying this now so that if we are 14th come February, he can then reiterate and say that its a plan for a few years? Any other manager, i would think nothing of it, however KB is clever at covering his own back and think this is a strong possibility!
