You guys worry too much. Last minute posturing, with Titus coming in I don't think he should play too hard to get.

There are also other irons in the fire at Centre half.

Agreed, think we hold all the cards here. Sunlan are absolutely desperate to get rid.

There'll be plenty of moans that the club don't know what they're doing but we'd have the same people moaning if they rushed in and got left with a deal which doesn't suit us.
 
And no recall clause too!!!

Simmo, Ertl, Britton, Boggy, Nosworthy - 5 decent signings in my book. A couple more defenders needed, then let's sell Henderson & get a bit of pace up front, and things aren't looking so bad....
 
No I'd say the club just went through the motions, we just have too many fans ready to jump down the managements throats based on bullshit.


Anyway a decent if steady signing for this division, here's to the first of 3.

i agree, taylor will do alright this season, we clearly need another cb and rb though, are they the positions left to come bob?

I believe those are the area's under consideration not a lot of news about. Clubs trying hard to plug any leaks, and not doing a bad job of it.
 
what about a covering gk?

Two have left leaving just Aksolu, who I'm not convinced about.

Key position. You can have 10 superstars out there but if you don't have a decent gk, you win nothing. Hopefully, Simmo will make 58 appearances next season, meaning no back up keeper required. However, with our recent luck with injuries, don't bank on it!

The only thing that lets taylor down is his pace.

If he were like the old proverbial whippet, I'd be happy with him.

Personally, I think we do need a left back as well as a rb.

why not convinced about aksolu? hasnt he played in 4 friendlies, and thats it? give the lad a chance - back up keeper isnt the priority, we have to focus on cb, rb and maybe a cm and a striker if hendo leaves. i think the back 4 of ertl, morgan, nosworthy and taylor will be pretty solid, especially now we have a keeper who can actually organise a back 4.
 
After watching last night's performance I think it's of utmost importance that we DON'T start the season with Taylor and Kozluk at FB. Kozluk looked really poor, and Taylor was found out last season. Still potential but I don't want to develp it at our expense - maybe a lona out would suit.

Who was the black lad at RB late on - was it Connor Brown? He looked the part.

I saw him at Mansfield and he confirmed my doubts about him.

Imho, he is not the answer

agreed, but on a night when practically nobody did themselves any favours, he stood out for me.

But we have a top keeper and he's cover. We look like having to play Kozluk and Taylor as first choice, so we clearly have priorities elsewhere.
