It seems Norwood was against another loan deal and wanted a permanent transfer somewhere.

Initially he panicked when it was reported as a “loan” signing, then he found out that its a loan with a compulsory pre agreement to buy, so its basically a normal transfer and he’s now happy due to having a settled future.

Norwood- "Like fuck, I'm not interested!".

Norwood- " I'm still not going, I don't wanna go anywhere on loan!!"

Agent- "But Oli".

Norwood- "But fuck all, I'm not going anywhere, I'm staying in Brighton And that's that!!".

Agent- "Ok, I understand, and it's less money anyway".

Norwood- "Fuck that, told you I'm not interested!!, just out of interest, er, who wants me???"

Agent- "It's Chrissy Wilder at Sheff United".

Norwood- "Fuck Brighton then, im off! TAXI!!, why didn't you just say that Dave, you twat, TAXI!!".

Sounds more realistic.........:D

This ere « compulsory pre agreement to buy » malarkey. Is it binding on both sides ? I mean, will he definitely be our player as soon as the loan arrangement ends ? Not gonna get gazumped or owt are we ?

Proper player, proper Wilder signing, proper grounded,wants to play football and he's fooking good, if he continues in the same vein he could be seen as fooking god, though Couttsy may have something to say about that.

It’s been reported as a done deal to Sheff United. Wilder himself says he’s ours with the deal made permanent in January.
Very much doubt our legal people are so amateurish that Brighton can change the terms after the event.
Also doubt that Norwoods agent and legal people are so amatuerish that BHAFC can find away of changing the deal.

Cheers. I was more referring to the possibility of other suitors coming in and offering more money and the seller and the players heads being turned. It won’t have escaped other clubs notice of the massive impact Norwood has had.
