Norwood

I appreciate him for his fantastic performances between signing for us and early 2020, but based on last season and today's showing: he's done.

If we're going to stand a chance, we need midfielders who can do more than ping the odd Hollywood ball.
 
The bloke plays short square passes along our back four or occasionally gives it short and then
Receives it back before pinging it out to the wing backs.
he cannot head a ball or tackle and has lost what little pace he had
In short
No height, strength or pace yet his job is to sit in front of our back four so unless he is playing Hollywood balls he is useless

I'm not saying Norwood has been brilliant, but this season he is the only midfielder actually doing his job. The clamour to blame him for everything is ridiculous.

our most successful period in the top flight we trained at the Ball Inn. Myrtle Road

Yeah the role now allows him to push further forward, won't be long before his shots either hit target and/ or trouble the keeper!

The new competition that both Norwood and Fleck have is seemingly kicking them into better performances, long may it continue

Gibbs-White has made a ridiculously huge difference to that area of the pitch.

One of the first names on the team sheet at the minute.

He's now putting proper corners in, instead of the previous floaty crap. He's also put a bit more bite into his tackles.

Every ping and corner was on point.
 
Has he had leg replacements? From going to having no legs and not venturing out of centre circle he's now all over the place!

Taking pop shots from outside the box, ripping into tackles, whipping in tasty corners.

He felt really aggressive in every aspect of his game today....which is a word I never expected to use about Oli
