He has had 2 bad games since we signed him, compared to the rest where he has been magnificent.

Coutts wouldn't have been much use today with the tackles flying in.

We arguably need to sign a midfield shithouse in January, for situations like today. Unless Lunny can make the step up.

Not sure today was the right game to continue Coutts comeback.
 
My patience is wearing thin with him.

Far too casual for his own good and seems to think he's a superstar. Never leaves 'casual mode'.

When under any concerted pressure as he was today, he'll give the ball to the opposition time after time.

He's a liability. When we're holding onto a lead, he needs taking off.

People mock Lundstram but there's been multiple games this season where he'd have been much more use than Norwood.

And the partnership with Fleck has become ineffective. He needs Coutts alongside him again.

He hasn't just had 2 bad games. He was poor 2nd hslf at Derby and completely ineffective at Forest. The last 2.5 away games the midfield have been shocking on and off the ball
 
He's had more poor/average games than he has good.

He has got well stuck in most games and made some key tackles.

Just poor/lethargic/disinterested [take your pick] today, as were most of the team.

Agreed. One bad decision on top of a poor game eh and he goes from best midfielder in the division v the Pigs to being a liability. Fine margins.

Would you look for a way out of the transfer in January and look to to spend the money elsewhere?
 
He's an arrogant player, no denying that. He tries all sorts of cocky things and when it doesn't come off it can cause problems. But for me it's absolutely worth it for some of the brilliant things he does.

No. It's good value for money. We just can't be relying on him every game.

Yeah I’d persevere with him as well but I think you make a good point about him not performing well when the pressure is on.

But we need to find funds for pace and power upfront from somewhere. We have no plan B and no game changers to come off the bench.
 
I was really excited by his early performances but, for all his brilliance at times, he gives the ball away far too easily (lots of easy misplaced passes again today) and he also has an annoying habit of stretching for balls that he should leave for others to play - today was a costly example but he heads one backwards over our defence in most games.
 
Some of the posts on here about Norwood are ridiculous. Yes, he's had a bad game today and his form may have dipped a little in last few games. But he is an outstanding performer at times this season. Look how many passes he has completed etc. Yes may need a kick up the backside but calling him poor is talking tosh.
 
Norwood's 'assist' for their second goal could have been totally averted had Basham given him a shout to leave it... Bash then casually carries the ball out of defence and we probably win 2-1.

A lot of the players weren't at the races today, so to single out just one player when at least 3-4 others were underperforming sounds like wanting to stick the blame on someone.

Wouldn't have mattered at all if Hendo wasn't in goal today, MoM by far imo.

Two very contrasting games Gray,Pigs stayed in their own half for most of the game,so Norwood had all the time in the world to excell,but Rotherham were the complete opposite to Pigs in all their play,and today Norwood looked poor.
 



I see the usual bed wetters are out in force after one game. He's been our best player this season so those reverse engineering their bollocks to fit with hammering Norwood after today are bonkers.

You're also missing the point completely.

Another game without a clean sheet. Another game where we've thrown away a lead.

For all its excitement, our game management is akin to an Under 13 Girl guides team....
