Maybe that 4-4-2 diamond will be the go-to system if we’re chasing a game and take off a defender.

If we could be solid enough defensively with a back four and still get enough width from Freeman and Stevens, then putting all four midfielders in would be utterly terrifying (autocorrect tried to make that terrific OMG, which I can’t argue with!) for opposition teams.

If he had played for villa yesterday we would all be saying today, well thats what £8 million gets you, sadly we are shopping at aldi, just goes to show what good scouting and a good manager can do, could one day become a club legend, young lads and lasses going to the lane will be talking about him like I did about T.C.and my lad did with Deano, fingers crossed.

Should have signed him when Couttsy got injured would be playing in the Prem this season!

Considering he was playing for Fulham last year I don’t think that would have been possible
