Norwich are set to bid £800,000 for Sheffield United's combative midfielder Chris Armstrong. (The Sun)

Also hit the Mirror...

Norwich boss Glenn Roeder is making a £900,000 move for Sheffield United's tigerish midfielder Chris Armstrong to strengthen his survival fight. Roeder is being given a transfer kitty to turn around the Canaries and his offer has surprised the Blades. (The Mirror)

Wouldn't even contemplate a bid of such size. We don't need to sell and Stretch has been one of the better performers this year, also gives 100%

Haha! No!
I don't see why Robbo would want to sell, he's proved his value to the team this year with his versatility alone!

hahah gez

what a shitty offer £800/900k pfftt he's worth way more than that

and i wouldn't sell him anyway he's bin class this season

There should be no chance of selling Armstrong, Robson would be an even bigger idiot than what he already is even if he only considered it.

armstrong is better than naysmith, they can have naysmith if they want? please.

Although he did a decent job as a makeshift CM, his ONLY position (especially with signings) for us is LB where he is solid and quick but often left short positionally. So I reckon it might be an idea to agree a fee and see if he fancies a move. I'd imagine he'll want to stick around and fight for his place cos that's the type of player / person he is but for me he isn't first choice.

Rather sell Naysmith than Armstrong to be honest.

geary and armstrong are 2 solid left back, why naysmith???

Geary - Left back? Hmmm I can see it working you know!

LB - Del Boy
CB - Killa
CB - Cahill
CB - Bardsley

...Pretty solid if you ask me!
