Hope our lot would have been able to watch a bit of it. Norwich were dreadful for their first two games like us and have really responded well. Other thoughts:

If Norwich had Sharp they could well have stayed up.

Should look at a few of them should they go down, perhaps Krul for a season should we fail to keep Hendo.

Krul is dreadful and he’s a twat.

I’d take Cantwell and either of the fullbacks. There’s a reason why they’re bottom by a margin.

And he's just made a wonder save ;)

He’s not and the same has been levelled at Hendo.

Who do you think would be better if Hendo goes back to his club? Genuine question.
No saves I wouldn’t expect Simon Moore to make.

His best days are long behind him. He wasn’t a bad keeper back in his day.
Even of the sides likely to be relegated I’d sign Ramsdale or Heaton any day of the week over him.

And for every one of those, there's 3 cock ups.

No doubt he can pull out a top drawer save every now and then, but he's one of those keepers that just gives you the shits.

How do you come to your Sharp conclusion?

Pukki has 11 Premier League goals, Sharp has 3!

They showed more fight and guts than we have for the past 180 minutes. That's something I thought i'd never type this season.

I wish Man U put out the team they did today against us! Granted it was the cup. As for Norwich, the most likely players to leave will probably go for around £15 - £20m each, maybe more for Cantwell and I think they'll be bigger suitors than us, if we were interested.

Talking bollocks if they had Sharpe they’d have stayed up 😂 if they had Egan and O’Connell they would

I don't think Norwich should be worried at all to be honest.

I think their main downfall this season has been naivety.
Inexperienced manager and players, who can certainly learn from this season.

I think their owners who have received a bit of stick from their own fans for not investing have actually played it smart.
They spent a lot more last time around and struggled to get rid of players after relegation.

Pukki would be a great shout for us and he wouldnt cost more than £17-25m.

He has that turn of pace to overtake defenders on the through ball runs and an excellent record of finishing his chances.

Would complement (and is different to) what we already have and I have faith in that CWs signings will develop in time, examples being Moose, Billy and McB.

What I mean is that Norwich create a fair bit and Pukki has had a lot of missed chances. Buendia (who looks a cracking player) has created the 6th most chances in the league :O

Not going to argue about Tim Krul just agree to disagree, Hendo then Ramsdale are my choices.

The key point about the OP is the spirit and performance Norwich showed, if they can so can we, and hopefully we will tomorrow!

Can’t see us spending that much on Pukki as he has zero resale value at his age. That’s something we can’t afford to do sadly - I do like him though.

He didn't play but I'd take Zimmermann from Norwich as defensive cover. Was their captain last season.

If he gets you 15 goals in the Prem and that keeps you in that league, that would pay back his fee in full and any additional seasons thereafter are a bonus.

I actually think we'll build on this campaign and then year on year we will be getting stronger squad wise and financially.

Burnley I think have now had is it 7 or 8 seasons in the top tier?

Imagine the impact that has on the club balance sheet.

There Defence as not been good enough all season that's why they are at the bottom. Going forward they look decent.

3 of their back 4, Godfrey, Lewis and Aarons.........22, 22 and 20.

Farke's only 'proper' job in management is the one he is in now.
Naivety of youth applies to him too, spent the whole season trying to outplay everyone.

Pukki is not quick by any means. He also plays in a side that looks to try and dominate and outplay teams, rather than one that tries to remain compact and as competitive as possible for 90 minutes.

Pukki would be a huge waste of money.

If Wilder wants to play the same way next season and improve he needs a forward/forwards with the pace to stretch the game.

Should bloody hope he wouldn't cost more than £17-25m, I would've thought half that would be a good return for Norwich.

I suspect someone like Spurs or Chelsea will pick Pukki up. Last payday, he'll follow the money.
Spurs or Chelsea? Not sure what you’re seeing there but he’s not exactly blown the league away. West Ham looking to blow out the non-existent competition with a stupid amount of wages sounds more likely to me. To spearhead their championship challenge with a bit of luck.

Norwich today looked a 1000 times better than we have in the last 3 games!

They may well have but are we to dismiss the other 20 odd games where we have been far better? It was a one off game they are where they are because the deserve to be there. We are where we are because we deserve to be as well.
It seems people are forgetting what we have done this season and are concentrating on the 3 poor performances extraordinary in circumstances. It’s starting to become extremely tedious!

The same Chelsea that have just signed Timo Werner?! He’s had one and a half good seasons in his career, there’s no way the big boys will be sniffing around him.
