I agree with the above, I think we're all sick of hearing about 'real ale enthusiasts'.

Pipe down and drink your pint. Nobody cares. You're as bad, if not worse, than militant vegans.

If only there was an irreverent but authoritative Blog about Sheffield United, Real Ale, Craft Beer & Brewery Hopping that like minded people could gander at, rather than clogging up this forum.

A guy who ran such a Blog would probably be a narcissistic Self Publicist though. Anyone got any links?

The danger here BushBlade is that by suggesting real ale enthusiasts stereotype other people and are judgemental, you run the risk of stereotyping people & looking a bit judgemental.

My original post was a joke. I assumed that by putting a smiley next to it, that was obvious. Stop trying to make it into something it isn’t. I’ve got better things to do with my time.

Yes, as I’ve said, hence the smiley. I’m not sure what else I can do to indicate it’s a joke, that’s the point of smileys.

Post 33 isn’t from me. If it’s serious, then it’s unfortunate. If I wrote my opinion of that particular poster on here I’d get an infraction.

Every cloud and all that...

From 19 Feb to 23 Feb Norwich is hosting the national Winter Ales beer festival...

I have been to that do at St. Andrews Hall and it is great ale festival, predominately dark rich malty ales, porters and stouts, but also a good quantity of strong IPA's.

I think this is the last year at Norwich and it will move on to another city for the next three years.

I wonder where it will go?
