Looks like a right Northern league next year, shame not more Yorkshire clubs in there but should be some good followings at our away games:

Only 5 proper southern teams compared to 10 proper northern teams I like it

Not much different to last season in reality.

Swansea replace Cardiff, one less London team and Sunderland gone.

Total miles covered at the end of the season won't change that much and whilst it's further in distance it's much easier to get to London on the train than it is Wigan or Blackburn

Don’t regard Dorby, Forest, Stoke etc as Northern.

Still leaves 10 :)

6 southern teams
2 southern/nowhere teams
6 midlands teams
10 northern teams

It's quite an even split really.

15 close away games that are easy to get to.

Looks like The Euston Tap will be getting a fair bit of my ale trade next season. Though I’m unclear on the impact of HS2 building on the trains at weekends...

However there are a few good nights out on that map, though they are not the ones to tempt our lass, Stoke, Wigan, Middlesborough etc are not in her eyes comparable to a weekend for two in a Cotswold cottage with a starred restaurant full of candles and ingelnooks at the end of a row of artisanal shops.

One Nil to the Artisanal

Would rather swap teams like Wigan, Bolton, Hull, Boro for away days in London.

A good few away games are possible for me!!. I'm hoping to do Swansea but reckon that'll be a midweek game which rules me out!!.
Should be able to get to Wigan, Preston ect but will depend on the ticket allocation we get?. UTB
