As soon as Stevens is fit Hecky will pick him even though he's been a busted flush for three years. Still, you've got to pick your favourites regardless of form, hence Berge. I feel for RND, he was our best player prior to injury hands down. Now he might be one of our sellable assets if we fail to go up along with Ndiaye.

Tend to agree re Lowe

On Wednesday against Boro he had 3 great opportunities to cut back balls in the box. They either didn't beat the first man or were behind the player coming into the box. I know its a bit picky, but at this level they must get to our player. Opportunities wasted. for me he is 3rd choice at left back.

I thought Lowe was crap for us when he first came, I then eventually changed my mind and thought he's a good player.
Looks like I was right at first.

Both these wingbacks have the same issue defensively.
They stand too far away from their wingers and let them get crosses in.
Need to get tighter and put a foot in get in faces etc like Baldock does.
If they give a foul away at least we have a set defence for it.
Bogle is great going forwards. Lowe good enough, but in reverse we get done down the flanks all the time.

Baldock is very underrated and steadies the defence. Always surprises me when I used to see a few on here saying that he should be dropped for Bogle. I like Bogle but for me Baldock is much better defensively and should starting. Bring Bogle on or push him up to right midfield if necessary.

Missing him big time. Has pace, gets stuck in and not afraid of a tackle. Gives us something different, we have a distinct lack of pace in the side. To be honest, have we ever had a quick counter attacking team? I can’t remember one in my lifetime of watching us. It’s not the be all and end all but my god we’re crying out for some at the minute.

He's getting caught out at the back and can't remember him offering anything going forward today. Did he even put in a cross?

But he's our only option right now.

If Baldock & RND were available, I think they'd be in now.


Bogle was great in his first few games back from injury but has declined a lot since. Swansea aside, I think he's been poor in his last handful of games.
Lowe had been doing reall well, but this week looks like the lost youngster we first signed from Derby. He looks nervous and is giving opponents way too much space down his side.

I think Clark needs to come into the back line now to steady us and provide some leadership, because even Egan seems to be struggling now.
