We'll need another big transfer fee soon.......to stay in business and keep us ticking over
You may tell me it's a coincidence that you've started coming on here since the kids broke up from school but I just won't have it. The playgrounds are empty so there's none for you to watch is there? Binoculars in one hand, camera in the other.

Dare I say its a position more tolerant to a risky selection than, say one of the back 3? Stevens definitely went off the boil last year, but i can't remember it costing us directly too often (Snodgrass maybe?). If the lad has potential, he's competing against 2 first teamers of which neither has staked a proper claim for the shirt yet.
it’s not just that
Stevens costs us every attack when he has the ball because he won’t (can’t?) cross at pace and we lose the ball when he stops .. i notice joc is reticent about overlapping him cos he doesn’t want to be caught out of position

Hi 10p
Putting aside "will he make it" - which I usually do.
I like watching Parkhouse play. A proper old skool target man striker. Come deep. Win the punt from the keeper or centre back. Nod it on for one of the fancy dans to run on to. Sprint for the penalty spot. Get on the end of the cross or nudge into the box. Booom.
But, FFS, he needs to score a lot more goals.
Puts a smile on my face....
Got to agree about Parkhouse he frustrates the life out of me nearly as much as Stevie Mallon this year for me is make or break for both of them unless the penny drops then I think this year could well be the last we see of them

Could someone clarify something for me please?

Am I right in thinking that Norrington-Davies is the next big thing purely based on the fact he played well for 30 minutes against Doncaster reserves in a pre-season friendly?

Not just that, he also has a very posh name.

Regardless of whether he’s a pig or not, insinuating someone is a nonce is not on mate.

He said also an international footballer who many people on here have seen for various other united teams and some know him quite well.

All this talk about Norrington-Davies What about Jake Bennett, he was doing well until an injury, but that seems a long time ago

So is Diego and George Long. Enda Stevens is as full international footballer.

Another cap for RND last night in a nervy 2-1 win for Rob Page’s U21s over Lichtenstein. He played the full 90. Tuesday vs Portugal will be a bit more of a test – with Giggs accelerating a few into the full squad, a lot more currently being asked of the remaining U21s.

With the arrival of Johnson seemingly as the main back-up for Stevens, I’m really surprised that Norrington-Davies hasn’t been loaned out to get some regular first-team experience. Perhaps that’ll come in January.
