The problem today was we had around 7 players out BUT none of our fringe players can say they are pushing for a first team place. This all goes back to last summers recruitment! We don’t need squad players, every player at the the club should be capable of playing... the truth is that can’t!!!

Exactly, the likes of Heneghan and Thomas are nowhere near playing. We need at least 3 players in the window all of whom need to be first 11 players

To me, it's fine having fringe players but not when we have to play them all together !

We've been desperately unlucky this season with injuries etc

Yeah but we are always unlucky aren' we ? You make your own luck and we have no decent back up.

In a strange way it’s good that this injury crisis has come before the widow, at least now CW knows that they are not good enough, Yer we have been very unlucky, every club have some problems but to lose so many in such a small space of time is killing us.

Perhaps the statement ‘good’ is not what I would wish for :/ never a good time for player injuries!

It would be lovely to have a squad full of first team quality players, but I doubt they would be happy on the bench or in the reserves.
