Noble effort but we manage to write yet another script.

He's not being negative. He's telling himself he was right all along. Because no one else will.

Doesnt like the cup, wonder if he was at the last three semi finals?

He was wildly wrong about Clough but I noticed posting on here he's changed his mind on what he said, and then blocked me for pointing this out.

Remember "transition" ? Even Curt never posted anything that stupid.

He blocks anyone who points out his about turns.

The OP can recall certain aspects of our negativity since 1981.
But.....
Can he remember what he had for his tea on Tuesday week?

Onset.

He struggles to remember the comedy gold he's posted in the past.

The majority of fans would have taken a 0-0, certainly wouldn't have advocated NA playing three up top. But I felt and I get the feeling many fans felt after 75/80 minutes how the game was going we could have nicked it. That would have involved bringing on an impact player Adams or JCR, we all remember Adams impact against Spurs, it's not a criticism of NA it's just a different slant on the substitutions he made.

If I lived on history I'd be always be looking at the past, that can be frustrating as I have read above, only the future can bring us joy and happiness with Sheffield United let's hope they bring that to us all.

Flynn went at them, JCR or Adams could have put them on the back foot instead of pushing up.

So.

Billy went off after 64 for Flynn and McEveley for Reed after 78
We went 4-5-1 or at times 4-6-0?

If Adkins had brought on either Che or Campbell-Ryce at 80, who would he have taken off?

Sammon?

Who would you have brought on?
Che, JCR. Done, Baxter?

Personally, JCR. Sammon was knackered anywayas he'd worked hard. But in any event what do you think Done was put on to do?

Last Tuesday I shared lamb chops and chicken kebab at a Turkish restaurant with the wife. Glad you're interested and thanks for the attention.

Welcome new member Lydon. With such careful research, ready wit and that little edge that is always welcome, you will enjoy your time on here.

I remember good and bad times since 1956 actually and the trouble is that those punishing scripts rarely seem to swing the other way in our favour.

How old are you Lydon? Perfect in every way I'd guess;) Fading memories of old people is no joke though as you will find out one day.

Think NA brought Done on to replace Sammon (90) as he was contemplating a 0-0 and with the six minutes remaining, might have had the one chance in injury time to be effective.
