The ticket details for Peterborough are on the main site, quoting an initial allocation of 500, with a further 1,200 available if required. There is no reference to whether they are for seats or terrace, but I think the terrace holds about 4,000, and all the tickets are priced at £25, so it sounds as if we're being given part of the main stand instead.

A great shame if so - the occasional opportunity to stand is one of the few plus points of being in this division.

I found this on the football ground guide website: 'Just under 4,000 away fans can be accommodated in the Moy's Terrace, with a further 800 seats being made available to away fans in the Main (North) Stand. If however, only a small away following is expected, then the terrace is kept closed and away supporters are housed just in the Block A seats of the Main Stand.'

With only 500 tickets being made available initially it looks like they are keeping the terrace closed and we will be in Block A of the main stand. Shame. This seems like a victim of being a Tuesday night fixture. Current form will not help either. Shame that it's not on a Sat-di, as we ought to be taking a big following. It's not far and fairly accessible by car (straight down the A1) and train (trains direct from Donny).

25 bastard sheets for a match like this pisses me right off. I am going with the old fella mind. Tekkin the afternoon off work and going to have a few ales beforehand. It's a new ground for me, so I am making the effort. It ought to be a match I would look forward to, but the combo of Tuesday night, lack of standing and us being wank is thoroughly hampering that.

One of my little brothers is, for his sins, a Peterborough fan. I had hoped that one of the two fixtures would be on a Saturday as either he could come to Sheffield for the weekend, or I could go to Fenland for the weekend. Both fixtures are on Tuesday nights, meaning he or I would need to take two days off work. Great.

Apparently because the season started earlier, there are fewer midweek games...
