Partly that’s because we built a squad to play one way and one way only. We have a bunch of half decent wing backs (Stevens, Baldock, Osborn) but none of them really cut it as full backs in a back four. Amazing, though, that a squad built to play with three centre halves has to field Robinson as one of two. He’s gash.

The shape seemed fluid but some of our players have drunk too much fluids over the summer.

I suspect it might take a while for players to do what he wants. There seemed to be some confusion.
