At the moment we are out of the race, a win tomorrow might put us back in it but I and many considered the team not good enough and this season a write off weeks ago.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow for that reason, not dreading it but waiting with intrigue.

If any of the players or staff are reading this.....just relax, enjoy the game and stick to your task....see where it takes us.

Surely if a win puts us in the race, we're already/still in the race? o_O

We really can afford to only lose one, draw one and win the rest from here, however if the defeat came tomorrow it would almost certainly drop us nine points away from sixth and that psychologically would put us too far behind.

The season was all over (realistically ) when we didn't take the opportunity to clear out as much dross as possible and bring in quality in September ...........

Roll on the summer !!

No. We are at that stage of the season where (as mentioned by zablade) we cannot afford to lose another game. We're on the borderline between a glimmer of hope and no hope.

A win tomorrow might narrow the gap to make it look possible again. Anything less and we really do have too few games to drag ourselves back into it. We have only just enough time for one final push.

At any point in the season depending on how far you are from your goal there will be a cut off point where it's no longer anywhere near realistic. We are at that point in my opinion, the very last chance to have a go at it.
