Edit: Can now see we've got Donaldson, he'll do a job I suppose.

However at least we've kept Brooks and according to some of our fans he's worth at least £10 million and we've not cashed in on Fleck either, according to many Blades he's worth over £5 million.

Still wrong as you said we wouldn't sign anyone and have done. we had 2 attacking options lined up but both there clubs couldn't get people in so they tell through yeah it's a shame and yes it would have been nice to have at least 1 striker come in but let's not panic. We will do just fine this season I am sure. Leon also only has one game left on his ban and there's also the option of just playing one loan striker with 2 out of Duffy carruthers and brooks. Let's just see where this season takes us but stop worrying.

davidblade yes confirmed signing. I am happy with that one to be honest. yes he might be 33 but seems to be a decent striker in this league and could work well with sharp.

Agree we'll be fine and stay up, even with no additions.

However without strengthening up front, we've no chance of the play-offs.
Unless we're so desperate we play young Brooks up front and he grasps his opportunity and shines.

Edit: Can see we've got Donaldson, don't know enough about him.

Arsenal have had all summer to sign Lemar but don't really want to spend the money. It was a last minute panic bid in the hope of signing him even though they knew he was on international duty with France.

Not sure you can compare that with us low balling the likes of Fleetwood and Southend for their players. In both cases the player has wanted the move but a fee cound't be agreed.

Thankfully we have a manager who can work miracles with next to fuck all money.

They know that they can get them for practically nothing in January and all they've got to do is offer better wages than us
