I hope the bbc are right on this one. Does anyone know more about this or is it just sloppy reporting?

The world and his wife know that we don't have a pot to piss in and are desperate to unload, so don't be surprised if all three are still Blades players with half an hour to go - after that, it's in the lap of the gods. This also means that any players hoping to join us (Yes, I know) had better be in the BL car park with pens poised at 10.45. If the fax machine is bust, we're stuffed on both counts, so I've been on to Staples to get a spare organised.

At least all the traditional excuses that they get out and dust off i.e "we couldn't refuse him the chance to player at a higher level", "it was an offer we couldn't refuse" are actually true this year. I wonder if they will use the line "there was no-one better than we currently have"?

I think losing Quinn is the end of our automatic promotion spot.

Any money we get won't make up for the loss of being in League 1.

Monty is bound to get sold.. there is significant interest in him.. again.. apparently.. lampard says he's the best yadda yadda..
quinn is a good player and will fit in a higher placed club easily.. i don't think we'll miss him at this level though .. it isn't that kind of football down here

hope he stays but i think he'll be gone on deadline day. good player at this level but the time is right for a change we need him off wage bill and IF we bring the right players in whether on loan or permanent then i think we can still mount a promotion bid. utb
