I still have faith in Micky Adams to get us out of relegation trouble. There are too many gloomy Blades! Anyone who is like me that hasnt lost heart!

No surrender!

I'm with you on this. Still lots to play for, it might be tight but there is still hope. looking forward to the next game, there will be a day when things change they always do. Thats Football !

Oh, I think we can stay up. But any more weekends like the last couple and it's cheery bye.

I'm fairly optimistic that we will avoid relegation, Still plenty of points on offer with Scunny, Palace and Preston still to play us and others around us in which we should pick up some much needed points. UTB FTO

Hard to see why anyone should have any faith in a manager who can't win games and has no idea in the transfer market.

I'm with you Silent Blade. 100% certain that we'll stay up.

I'm looking at today as our "battle of bramall lane moment" The turning point where we all collective said, feck it, lets obtain the siege mentality and drive forward.

Today is as bad as it gets... Lets move it forward!

I'm not gloomy. Having just watched a fantastic League 1 game on tv I think we can look forward to watching some good football and able to stand up in the away end at most grounds - brilliant!

I cannot recall you doing anything except put a negative spin on the club and this post just somes you up ...shallow and attention seeking...possibly in the style of a certain other forum.

We will not change the manager,we have no money,we are in the crap.Accept this and move on for the rest of the season .We still have a chance to stay up. Recriminations can be at the end of the season. No one is happy with the state we are in but you never seem to give any constructive vision as to what should be done

If you weren't encouraged by the last two home games there is no hope for you and maybe you shouldn't go the the games as it obviously is an experience that is upsetting you.

Now is not the time for a 'blame' culture.

It is time for Blades to get down to the next two home games(and the restof the season) and back the players for the whole game,no moaning,no booing and no slagging off of the players or the manager.

The atmosphere has improved at BDTBL the last few games as the 'real' fans have realised the need to get behind the team. Are the glory fans dissappearing?

Oi Silent! You can't come on here with that kind of positivity!

As I see it, we won't get another point this season, or probably next and then it's Conference here we come.

As a matter of interest, do you still get to see any of the Academy games and if so, are there any youngsters who could realistically be expected to make any kind of impression on the first team right now? I accept there would be a risk of ruining a young ld's confidence, but if they really are good enough.......

I too am convinced that we haven't yet reached the point of no return . Sure, confidence is going to be at an all time low ......but we can still play a big part as the twelfth man in lifting the team (whoever is picked ). We've all seen how the team react to 3/4 of the ground in full voice .

Just out of interest ....has anyone else ....aside from Seth Bennett ... seen the Twitter photo of the injury that sparked Rob Kozluks fury ?

For fucks sake Trig, dont ask for that kind of info on here, they will be sold before Silent has hit the Post Button ....

Now I've polished off a very fine bottle of white, I could go down the Lane now and sing my proverbial heart out. What? There's nobody there? Oh... Ok then.

Yeah - I've seen Kozzy's foot. Looks like someone put a bullet through it.

Bottom three sorted with 16/17 games left to go is it possible? Preston and Scunny look doomed and so do we. But there are teams above us who are could still falter. Just be interested to know if the the bottom three at this stage is normally the three that go down.

ps love your optimism Silent, but I actually no longer have faith in the squad we've got. I think they have given up and like Ward are probably trying to find ways out before the season ends.

Anyone else worried by Ched's 'illness' - a la Beattie?

With you on this one Pete and Swiss. We've been in much deeper shit than this and come out of it smelling fresh

I hope all the morons who hounded Blackwell out are happy with the current predicament.

I still have some hope left in me, but we need a win on tuesday really to lift the spirits of everyone.

That would be a week on tuesday, the second of two home games in a row.
51 points more to fight for, no room for sulkers its roll up your sleeves time..
Next saturday would be a good time to start.

before Palace got deducted 10 points too. How that would help us out a bit. Wishful thinking...

I'm with thee Silent, we'll not get a point in March either.

So what, we lost at Ipswich, expected.

Lose at Scunny and we may well have problems but at the moment it's far from over and i'm a real grumpy bastard.

So I'm shallow and attention seeking because I can't see anything other than a negtive spin? FFS man, come in to the world of reality, there isn't anything to be positive re the Blades and if you think anything different you are deluded. Cut the bullshit about a change in manager, we all know it's not even a consideration at the moment because this would mean the hierachy losing all credibility, but it doesn't mean Adams is doing a good job or that he's the answer to our problems. We are heading south like an express train and there's nothing to say it will stop once we get relegated. If by some miracle we stay up it will only be papering over the cracks and until there is a change of regime we are going nowhere.

As for constructive vision, with McCabe at the helm what's the point, but it would be interesting to hear what you have in mind other than everyone clapping us all the way into oblivion. Sorry pal I've done that when I was younger at Cambridge, V Walsall etc like so many others, and where has it got us, nowhere, we are in the hands of a dictator who has no interest other than looking after his own pocket.

Am I encouraged by the last 2 home games? Not in the slightest, why should I be, this is a results business and we aint getting any. Bollocks to all this talk about us being unlucky, not getting a break, and refereeing decisions going against us, it's all crap and at the end of the day you get what you deserve. No win in 10 says it all. We are not good enough and if Adams thinks by signing the likes of Bent, Mattock, Doyle and Collins we are going to get out of the shit we are in he too is totally deluded.
