If we are relegated today - or whenever it comes, for pity's sake don't start blubbering like a whimp. Don't give the pig Star an opportunity to gloat by publishing pictures of Blades bawling like a slapped child in a supermarket. Come on, stiff upper lip, take it squarely on the chin - like a man. It's not like it's come as a big surprise, is it?

So if you happen to see someone near you weeping uncontrollably into their red and white beanie, don't put your arm around them to comfort them, give them a dig in the ribs and tell them to man up - and that goes for the blokes as well...!

Good point.

Nothing to cry about really. It's like losing a relative to a long illness. Very sad, but you've been mentally prepared for it for a long long time.

However should we win the next 3 games, and all the other results go our way til the end of the season, but we fail to stay up because Swansea grab a last minute equaliser, then i reserve the right to blub like a baby. :D

I think if we showed a bit of fight in the last four matches and perhaps won our remaining home fixtures, we could begin to feel slightly more optimistic about our chances next season. Truth be told that our form in the past 20 matches has been absolutely abysmal.

I agree with Highbury - we've known this has been coming for some time. Sadly, the directors of our beloved club have been deafening in their silence over the past few months. Yet again, our board has failed to communicate with the fans, and the team has been so poor, we're going down. Cue excuses that our gates are not sufficient enough to warrant bringing in new players etc. We have heard it all before.
