I think Bristol beat PNE to secure 5th.

I can't see anything other than a Burnley win at home to Millwall, so that rules them out of it.

Which leaves Coventry & Middlesbrough who play each other, and Blackburn.

If Coventry & Boro drew, and Blackburn beat us then Blackburn would leapfrog both of them into 6th and face us in the play-offs.
Which would surely be our favoured option?

I don't think we will lose to Blackburn though, and I can't see Coventry losing at home so I suspect the play-offs will be:

Coventry City v Sheffield United
Bristol City v Sunderland.

Think you're spot on there

Unbelievable, and Coventry will not get 6th now, Middlesbrough will.
Before Lampard got the job, Matt Bloomfield (Top Man) was heavily linked with the job.
Today, Matt Bloomfield, following 3 mightily impressive results has almost kept Luton up, and stopped Coventry making the play offs.
True to form Lampard, always crumbles under pressure.
Yet again, just as against Burnley, James Collins has had a massive mix up with one of his own players which has led to a goal. 😮
👍

Yep, we should have enough to beat Cov, be great to get an away leg win to start.

We could put out a second XI, injure the entire Blackburn first team and the contrive to lose the game so we get them in the playoffs. Just an idea.

That's giving me flashbacks of the battle of Bramall lane!

Shackleton and Cannon getting red cards wouldn't be the worst thing in the world tbh......

Think Burnley will want to go out with 100 points - so will definitely be playing to win.

It would be an incredible achievement they’ve kept pace all season been 3rd for what feels like a lifetime (I’m probably wrong)

The Scott Parker thread on here is eye opening with regards to opinions. Think he’s done a fantastic job.

How many games is De Silva banned for. Will he miss the first leg of the playoffs?

Loads of the games on Saturday have something riding on them;

Blades v Blackburn who have a chance of the play-offs
Plymouth v Leeds who will need to win to win the league, (presuming they beat Bristol City tonight)
West Brom v Luton who could go down
Derby v Stoke either could go down
Pompey v Hull who could go down
Bristol City who, (presuming they lose tonight) will need to win to guarantee play-offs v Preston, who could go down
Burnley who will need to win to win the league v Millwall who have a chance of the play-offs
Coventry v Boro is a potential play-off shootout!

And of course the biggest of them all.....Watford v Pigs in "the battle for 12th"......
