Can't stand the thought of missing the first game of the season, as much as I don't want to swell the coffers of Bolton, tough one!

It's a real shame about the prices because I was looking forward to us taking thousands and selling out our allocation. Hopefully Bolton have a rethink but I doubt they will.

I'm going but think Bolton are taking the piss..if it was £20 we would possibly take 3000+,as it stands it sounds like so many won't travel then maybe 1500 max,so they gonna lose money on it..wankers
I don't think Bolton will be the only team to do this....

Be generous Boys and Girls. Bolton will need the cash in League 2 next year.

Taken over by a consortium which can spell trouble with two penny millionaires . Ok they have bought some players but my view with tickets cost etc they are in the shit .

Yes it's hard not to go especially with the Wilder New World but all Bolton are doing is shooting themselves in the foot . New stadium with gates between 10 and 12000. They will not be in contention for promotion and could finish up relegation fodder .

Bolton are going nowhere and if we don't go just think when MK Dons , Gillingham fans turn up in a fiat 500.

Short term thinking by a club in trouble , so do not think or care a fuck about any fan base.

IMO, we will sell out for this fixture with some disappointed they xouldn't get a ticket.

But £30 is a rip off, like petrol, food, cinema tickets, tax taken from my salary, life in general.

£30 not good and f--ck you greedy Bolton but I will be paying It to watch the Blades
We need to be positive and get behind CW and the boys from the off so let's sell it out

Come on Shoreham Boyz
make some fuckin noise
go wild wild wild !!!

2,000 tickets will not be enough they will sell quite quickly, I remember all the fuss to watch Man Utd at £50, we sold our allocation. All soccer fans are like sheep, me included season ticket holder I live in Kielder Forest, which is a 420 mile round trip, even go to away games its in our blood. Im the handsome one second on the left.

If they sell out then every Team in the league will increase their prices. Boycot Or do you want a season costing more than in the Championship.

Its All relative we are a class a game we are class a fans .andbwebare going to rip this leauge a new one .30/quid cheap at half the price .

Thinking of going, despite the cost. Has anyone been before? I've driven past a couple of times, it looks as if it's in the middle of nowhere. Are there any boozers near by, or any form of life around the ground?

Been plenty, including for youth cup matches...

It's pretty much on a business park next to a retail park, there's a couple of pubs within 10/15 minute walks. Both crap upon last visit.

There are a couple of bars at least on the retail park, but I'd imagine they are likely to be home fans only (never felt the need to try).

Failing that, if they've not banned alcohol inside for the fixture, it's about £3.50 a pint of piss.

Thanks foxy! Can't wait..... Haha. Can't we just play them at home twice? It would be good if there were a few decent away fixtures but can't think of any.

Another soulless, horrible modern ground on a retail park next to the motorway. Seems to be the norm for all modern grounds.

Millwall and Charlton are likely to be the two most enjoyable... Fleetwood isn't bad if you avoid most of Blackpool :)

I went for the darts in the Harvester on the retail park but would imagine will be rammed on match day.

The piss was £4 at the FA cup of darts!

Thankfully they have took the tournament off the shit hole and it's at Minehead now .

£30 could be a ploy to scare away support off

From memory I think the away end holds about 5,500 in total, we would've probably filled it at £20 a pop, the price being £30 will probably see us still take 3,000.

Unless absolutely everybody is going to do the boycotts' then we have no chance of a change in modern day rip off merchant land.

Tha paints a reight picture of pleasure and joy there, Foxers

I'm going. There'll be 6 of us.

So it's £30. What was Gillingham? £20? Fair enough, but how much was fuel/train on top? Bolton's only up t' rooerd so overall the day will be cheaper than the first game of last season.

It's all relative.......Wilder for England!

Will not make any differance all the league teams will charge as much as they can get,

I agree, but i have a good feeling for this season that the Blades will be playing like a Championship team, so it will be good value for money.

Normally I would back them but £30 far too much for 3rd tier game. & they are taking advantage of our support. I dont mind spending more & I have £40/45 & £55 but that was for Old Trafford & Wembley. Not the prestigious Macron Stadium v a newly relegated side 150m in debt

Although I am in favour of charging Bolton £35 for the reverse fixtures :D

Yup its basically on a retail park at middleton with a cinema and bar complex next to it. Like Centertainment and Meadowhall retail park. Horwich Parkway station is right by the ground though, my ex Mrs was from Chorley and there were some decent boozers there before getting a train in - that's going back a bit though. Drink elsewhere and train in would be my tip though.
