For me, on balance the right decision, but also a bit pointless if we haven't learnt any lessons from the past. Get the new man in quickly and back him financially, whoever that might be.

I don't feel ecstatic, I don't feel relief. At the moment I feel it's just another part of the rinse & repeat cycle. A change in the managers office is a waste of time, effort and money unless there is a fundamental change throughout the club in terms of approach and attitude.

Rev, that thought did cross my mind. If nothing is going to change in the Back Office, then they might as well have appointed me, the eventual pay off would sort me out for a while
