Just found these in an article and dam they look good to say 2 years ago i thought he was awful 🤣

Enda Stevens up there with Liverpool and City stars..
It’s widely accepted that Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson is the best left-back in the league. The likes of Benjamin Mendy at Man City and Ben Chilwell at Leicester, are not far behind. But Enda Stevens is not too far behind these players.

Aside from having more clean-sheets and conceding less goals than Robertson, Stevens stands up well in other categories. 23 tackles and 15 of those won puts him above the Liverpool man. He’s also completed more headed clearances and won more aerial duels.

Ohhh Enda..🎶

I honestly wouldn't swap him for any left back in the country, he's that good now.

I think at least the left side of our defence (JOC and Enda) has a claim to being the second best in the country atm. Robertson and VVD are better, but otherwise? Maybe Soyuncu and Chilwell are better, but it's close.

City are a bit ropey with Laporte injured, Man Utd are still playing Young at left-back, Arsenal are poor at the back, Spurs no better at the moment, Tomori is good but prone to a sloppy backpass and Alonso is better offensively than defensively, Jonny and Boly is a good duo but Boly is now injured... Is there anyone else worth mentioning?

Enda Stevens was never shit. He was always comfortable on the ball, always offering an option. His down period (he started the season well), was when Coutts was injured and that coincided with a couple of questionable midfield signings and the rest of the team having an off spell.

He had to go backwards most of the time as there wasn't the same options available, our whole team and shape changed for 6 months.

Think he was dealt with very harshly in that time (and if you go back, I was probably his sole supporter on here).

+1. Always been a baller our Enda. He just got very hesitant for a bit when we had our post Coutts dip.

It's "fewer goals" but yeah, nice to know. He's top 4 quality our Enda.

Put me as a full back in that Man City team & I'd look half decent. Only have to do 10 minutes of defending, the rest of the time you just stand on the edge of the oppositions box looking busy 🤣
